LA Lakers’ superstar LeBron James is the face of the NBA and as this season commenced they were regarded a the Titleholders. Despite having a line-up of seasoned star players, the Lakers as a team have been struggling this year due to continuous injuries and Covid Healthy and safety Protocol which have rendered the Lakers ineffective this season.

Since the beginning of the season, even LeBron James has been trying to cope up with his injuries, and as soon as he recovered all the responsibilities of the Lakers came crashing on his shoulders. He had to give his all to overcome the losses and bring the Lakers back on the track. The continuous need to excel has pushed Lebron James to play like a hungry beast who wants to score irrespective of what the conditions are.

LeBron James has averaged 30 points in his last eight games and his season high came against Portland trail Blazers on the night of 31st, where he scored 43 points, 14 rebounds, and 5 three-pointers without any turnover. This made him eligible to join the elite list of players who have scored 40 points without any turnovers at the age of 35. And guess what? Michael Jordan is too a part of this list.

In the Lakers’ previous game against Minnesota Timberwolves, LeBron James dropped 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists. And with this, he went to break his many previously made records. According to StatMuse, Lebron is scoring his highest since 2010 with 28.5 points per game, 52.3 field goal % since 2018, 37.4 three-pointers’ percent since 2014.

He has 4 NBA Championships under his belt in his 19-year-old career, but even at the age of37 he is playing like never before, his games feel like a new rookie has entered the league with 19-year experience. He sure can give the young blood a run for their money.

Lebron James has carried the Lakers till now with a very small amount of support and has displayed his one-man show in front of the fans and if he continues at this pace then he might cross the mark of 36,000 NBA points. If time allows then the Four Time MVP may also break the NBA All Time Record for highest career points made which is currently held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

James is currently averaging 28.5 PPG, 7.5 RBG, and 6.6 APG, but since the players are coming out of Covid Health and Safety Protocols, the burden on the shoulders of Lebron may get eased up a little. It will be interesting to see from here how Lebron James and co. compete in the game to prove their dominance in the league
