After being inches away from sending the Brooklyn Nets to the Conference finals in the previous season, Kevin Durant has been the sole star for the team once again. In the 2021-22 season, the 33-years-old marquee scorer is known to be one of the most lethal scorers to have ever stepped into the league and is surely among the G.O.A.T contenders but this time his words were surely not taken well by the league as the NBA punished him for his interview mishaps. 

When Brooklyn Nets locked horns against the Chicago Bulls in their most recent encounter, the Kevin Durant led side registered an emphatic victory. But to make matters worse for KD, the NBA fined $15,000for comments he made speaking to the media on Monday night. To be precise, the Nets forward for fined because of using profound language during the loss of his team against Portland Trail Blazers.

Durant was asked about potentially being worn down, having played so many minutes. Kevin Durant’s initial response went viral, saying “No, let me die out there.” He then clarified saying that he felt fine and is not concerned with the extra minutes.

Apart from this fine imposed on the 33-years-old, Kevin Durant has been producing the bets numbers so far in his career. Managing to lead the Nets in the highly-competitive Eastern Conference, the spoken off forward has done everything he can in order to maintain the Nets into the top ranks.
