“How can we be so bad?” Nets star Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant get into heated exchange after consecutive turnovers

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving arguing in between the game

Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving had heated words exchanged between them as they failed to put the strategy into the game and the ball actually got turned over to Boston Celtics where they successfully grabbed two points in the game 3 on Saturday night.

The duo joined the force to bring the championship to Brooklyn but it seems they are now on the verge of getting swept from the postseason without moving forward from round one. The Nets are now 0-3 in the series and for this condition, the main reason is inefficient plays by both KD and Irving against the Celtics. The duo even in Game 2 failed to execute the game plan where they were just 1-of-17 from the field goal in the second half.

The same kind of performance was seen in their third matchup of the series with the Celtics, both Durant and Irving were just 16-of-28 from the field and 2-of-10 from behind the arc. The frustration between the whole Nets squad was clearly visible on the courts but it started opening up in front of everyone when the slim reaper openly criticized Kyrie for missing the pass, which later got turned over during the mid of the third quarter.

The Nets this season were expected to win the Championship as they were with the players like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving who are in their prime but in these past two years of togetherness, they have failed to complete the dream of the Nets fans. But there’s still a possibility for the Nets in this series they are now 0-3 but if they get a player who can defend the rim well and score some extra points to bring them dominating position well it seems they have one.

Nets’ newly acquired guard Ben Simmons is expected to debut for the franchise in Game four of round one and if they allow him to play, the former Sixers guard can truly bring a big impact for them but there are still many questions like can he perform well after not playing a single game in the regular season. Moreover, the Nets are in the most difficult situation of the season and one wrong decision will kick them out of the postseason, and their hope to win the championship will also get delayed.
