“They wouldn’t even be in the play-in game,” $60 Million worth Charles Barkley continues to pour HATE on LA Lakers
Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, LeBron James and Charles Barkley
Charles Barkley is back in the NBA headlines and the reason is his recent take on the Los Angeles Lakers. The Hollywood-based team has been on a complete rollercoaster ride so far in the season. From being one of the worst teams in the league to getting back on track for improving and stepping into the contender’s conversation, they have done it all. Charles Barkley though still believes nothing has changed and the Lakers ain’t making it even to the play-in tournament.
Many around the league have shifted their energy towards Los Angeles Lakers and are riding with them. Anthony Davis gets all the credit for this change around the team. But Charles Barkley is still hating on them and has refused to give the team the same respect many around are giving. Chuck though has shown out his support and love for Anthony Davis. But he isn’t riding with the new Lakers which are running around AD itself.
Charles Barkley discussing the Lakers and disagreeing with the crewmates on, “NBA on TNT” who were out with their support for the LeBron James and Anthony Davis led team said: “First of all these idiots on the other network don’t wanna talk about… We talk about the Lakers all the time. First of all Anthony Davis is playing great. I’ve told you for the last three years. He’s the guy who’s gonna take the Lakers where they want to.”
Further, Charles Barkley added: “But where exactly placed are the Lakers right now? 13th!… Hey, if the playoffs started today, they wouldn’t even be in the Play-In Game.”
Charles Barkley’s take makes sense only if the playoffs started now. But with months remaining and the Lakers balling out, they surely can rise as one of the best teams in the league. And, while doing so they can also humble up all their haters, doubters and critics like Chuck.

Can the Los Angeles Lakers prove Charles Barkley wrong?
The Los Angeles Lakers have some real talent and potential to change the whole situation around them. And, they have already started doing so. As Russell Westbrook is getting MVP chants coming off the bench and improving the second unit while balling out. Anthony Davis is handing out MVP-calibre performances and LeBron James is doing a little bit of everything.
The Los Angeles Lakers were 8-2 in their last 10 games but unfortunately lost to the Donovan Mitchell led Cleveland Cavaliers. As of now, they are ranked in the 13th spot of the western conference with a record of 10 wins and 13 losses. They just need some more wins to get into the conversation as many teams in the star-studded western conference are very close in terms of record.
The Lakers’ BIG THREE will also have to stay healthy and keep improving and balling out at the same pace. And, if they are able to do so while the front office brings in some good additions. The Lakers can surely humble up Charles Barkley and get themselves a deep run into the postseason.
