“He loves Poole I guess” Canon Curry goes viral after trying to sucker punch Draymond Green, fans react

Draymond Green, Canon Curry

Canon Curry is a social media sensation because, as soon as they met after the Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Clippers game, he was ready to hit the Dubs superstar Draymond Green. Due to a recent incident where he was caught punching a teammate, Green is one of the dirtiest players. This exchange gave fans the impression that Canon may have wanted to exact revenge for the occurrence.

The appropriate role model is not necessarily Draymond Green. The Warriors veteran is a superb player, but he is also the one who in training knocked out a member of his own team with a punch that shocked the entire basketball world. Huge headlines were generated, and some even called for Green to be traded away from the Warriors. A few weeks later, Green nearly received a dose of his own medicine, but in a much funnier manner.

Canon has recently gained attention for a number of reasons and now, a video clip has surfaced online which showed Draymond Green getting bullied by the young sensation.

As Green was walking towards the court, he noticed Canon’s innocent face and wanted to offer him a fist bump.

It’s possible that Green had that in mind, but Canon Curry seemed to be aiming a punch at the 32-year-old. The incident was really funny, and the fan reactions on social media were equally hilarious.

Draymond Green and the Warriors’ title defense in the 2022-23 season

Draymond Green may not be entirely represented by the numbers in the box score, but he has received a lot of additional honours that speak to his overall importance.

He already holds two Olympic gold medals, four rings, and the chance to win one more in the future. In addition to being chosen for the All-Star team four times, the All-Defensive team seven times, and the All-NBA two times.

Green also won the Defensive Player of the Year award during the 2016–17 season where he is sixth overall in the postseason and 15th overall in the regular season for triple-doubles. He ranks among the top 25 players in history for postseason assists, steals, and blocks.

Questions about whether Draymond Green truly qualifies as an All-Star player or if he is only a glorified role player have been surfacing for years. The Golden State Warriors have consistently been decent to the excellent defensive squad during each of their four championship victories in the last eight years.

They were first, second, eleventh, and second in defensive ratings during those championship runs, led by Green.

Draymond must be at his best for the Warriors this season if they want to play outstanding individual defense and lead the team’s defensive comeback. He may need to walk a very fine line in order to win back his teammates’ trust while still trying to serve as the team’s defensive centerpiece.

Although Canon appeared ready to punch Green, Ayesha Curry stopped him, and he was forced to accept a high-five from Dray instead. Following a troubling 3-7 start, Green and the Golden State Warriors have since won six of their last nine games. The defending champions, who easily defeated the LA Clippers in their most recent game, seem to be quietly improving.
