“Kenny really meant to knock him hard,” Charles Barkley dismisses all claims of Kenny Smith shoving Shaquille O’Neal being FAKE

Charles Barkley
Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kenny Smith are perhaps the best trio in NBA shows. The Emmy Award-winning show is not only a fan favorite among NBA fans but also among non-NBA fans. Earlier this week Kenny “The Jet” Smith shoved Dr. Shaquille O’Neal into the decorated Christmas tree during the halftime show on NBA on TNT.
It was a light push, but the way Shaq fell into the tree and hilarious. The rest of the crew and the co-host of the show helped Barkley to get up. O’Neal told Smith that this meant war and he would get back to him. However, Smith had done the same shove to Shaq two years ago and made him head into the Christmas tree.

Charles Barkley had a perfect response to people saying the shoving was scripted

Since these are two identical incidents some people on social media have been wondering whether the act in the segment was scripted. However, Charles Barkley cleared the mist of doubt and said that the act was not scripted at all while he trolled both Kenny and Shaquille O’Neal. He said, “So I have heard people saying it was fake. First of all, if you know Kenny and Shaq they are not gonna be at work early to rehearse nothing If we go on at 7. Kenny is gonna show up at 6.52.”
Barkley also said it wasn’t possible for Smith to knock big fell down as he lost his balance. “I think what just really happened, I think Shaq just got off balance…to be honest I don’t think Kenny meant to knock him that hard and hit a tree,” said Barkley.
Barkley also added: “It’s kind of like your last couple of years when you are an NBA player when you can run but you can’t stop”. Charles Barkley is riding with his take and claiming the shove to not be scripted. Also, Shaq had a hard fall and him agreeing to get violated and disrespected by Kenny Smith on air isn’t something one can easily trust if he knows how things on NBA on TNT work.
