Los Angeles Clippers will have their star Kawhi Leonard back among the ranks, to strengthen their playoff aspirations. Kawhi missed 13 games for his LA Clippers campaign after he got his right knee surgically repaired. He only played 2 games for the franchise in the 2022-23 season, as they have maintained a reasonably decent record (8-7) this season.
It was reported that Kawhi is fit and active and will take the court for the Clippers on Thursday against the Detroit Pistons. Leonard will enter the starting five after coming off the bench in his only two appearances of the season, wherein he averaged 12.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.5 steals across 21 minutes per game.
Head Coach Tyronn Lue stated that Leonard looks pretty good, but they still have a way to go keeping in mind the long NBA season ahead. Everyone will be eager to see Kawhi get back to form and deliver for his team and maybe even lead them to a championship title. Interestingly, the Clippers also have one of the lowest efficiency rates this season and will look to get the numbers up with Kawhi back in the ranks.

The Detroit Pistons mark the beginning of their six-game Western Conference road trip against the Los Angeles Clippers. Both teams have lost their last match, as the Pistons fell to the Raptors on Monday and the Clippers fell to the Mavericks on Tuesday. For both groups, there were injuries and players to be assigned new roles keeping in mind what the team demands.
The Pistons line-up includes young Jaden Ivey and Jalen Duren, who will be eager to explode. There will be eyes on Bojan Bogdanovic, who will play a vital role in the game. They have had a poor run until now and will look to pocket some important wins.
To make everyone land on the same page – Clippers are no different when it come to struggles. Kawhi is set to return from injuries; a rotation of players hence can be observed on the team.
Terrance Mann should find a place for himself in the line-up with Paul George and Marcus Morris, as they are yet to give ample opportunities to the talent in the team.
