The trade drama surrounding NBA superstars Damian Lillard and James Harden has increased tenfold over the past few weeks. It all started when reports emerged saying James Harden wasn’t happy in Philadelphia and Damian Lillard wanted out of Portland. Many trade destinations have been discussed for both players, but in a shocking twist of fate, the two might be traded for each other.
An NBA insider has recently revealed that the Philadelphia 76ers have been talking to Lillard and the Portland Trailblazers throughout the entire off-season. Reports suggest that the 76ers are very interested in a trade package surrounding Lillard. Many believe he would be a perfect fit alongside Joel Embiid. Embiid could dominate the pain, while Lillard could focus on shooting from the perimeter.
Kyle Neubeck recently said, “Here’s what I can tell you that I know for sure that the Sixers have certainly talked to the Blazers about Dame at different points throughout this offseason.”
Despite these claims, nothing has been finalized as of now. Damian Lillard is still stuck in Portland. James Harden is still with the Philadelphia 76ers.
