“Next time just mention it” Draymond Green fired back at reporter claiming his podcast leaks Warriors intel to Celtics

Draymond Green tends to never back down from a fight. For the number of years that he has spent in the league, he has always stood up for his actions regardless of the circumstance. There is a massive reason why the Golden State Warriors have very high regard for the All-Star forward. His mental fortitude has a very big part of it.
The Warriors defeated NBA royalty, Boston Celtics in six games. From the start of the series, the Dubs made sure to assert their experience and allow their veteran knowledge to dominate over the young guns. It was a spectacular scene witnessing Stephen Curry solidify his legacy against the defensive player of the year at his own position. But all credit goes out to the team work they put in.
Draymond Green slams reporter who tried stirring drama
Obviously, the finals was never one sided as the Warriors lost two games to the Celtics. They lost Game 3 of the finals 100-116 and this was at the peak all the drama that sprawled out. Draymond Green happened to be very active on social media with his podcast and a reporter suspected that the player may have given out too much information. He also took the opportunity to savagely troll the reporter by thanking him for promoting his podcast.
The former DPOY shut down the reporter for the unnecessary comments saying, “Are you conscious at all of what you’re saying about the X’s and O’s, the game plans, the adjustments could be making their way back to Boston staffers and influencing their decision making?… I don’t say much different on the podcast as a I say to you right here.” He directed the next statements to the crowd saying, “How much X’s and O’s do you get from the podcast? Clearly this guy does. I don’t know man. Maybe it’s his IQ over there. Respect.”
Draymond Green faces a mental battle with Celtics fanbase
The NBA Finals witnessed legendary moments of Steph taking over like the superstar he is, of course Klay Thompson‘s return after two years of not playing. But the series was more of a mental battle as well with regards to the Celtics fanbase and Draymond Green. Fans are usually very vocal on the stands in an attempt to try throwing the opposition players off guard.
But the Celtics fans pushed a tiny bit too far which ultimately had an effect on Green’s family as well. As the crowd chanted, “F*ck you, Draymond,” Green’s wife and toddler son witnessed the entire stadium insult him. Following the finals victory, Dray had the opportunity to use his podcast to say those exact same words back to his haters.
