“I’m tell you who we gonna play, and it’s Boston” Draymond Green makes huge prediction about NBA Finals opponent ahead of Celtics vs Heat Game 6
Draymond Green on Celtics vs Heat
Draymond Green and his Golden State Warriors have finally clinched yet another NBA Finals another after some years of wait. Having to endure tough couple of seasons, the Dubs are finally where they have been their strongest. Having to kill Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 at home, Dray, Steph and Klay finally are going to make their 6th NBA Finals appearance in the last 8 years.
After an emphatic and dominant win over Luka Doncic, Mavs, Draymond Green could not help but join the NBA on TNT crew right outside the Chase Center wherein they spoke about the game. When Shaquille O’Neal went ahead to ask who Warriors would want to face in the NBA Finals or perhaps who could they face, former DPOY broke all strings to deliver his brutal prediction, at least for Miami Heat fans as he chose Boston Celtics.
What was opinionated by Draymond Green?
Shaquille O’Neal asked Draymond Green who their potential opponents could be in the NBA Finals. To which the latter responded by stating, “Both teams are doing great, Boston are great offensively….” Shaq went ahead to interrupt Green, looking for a plain and simple answer.
“I’m gonna tell you who we gonna face rather than we wanna face and its Boston Celtics.”
Boston Celtics do have the upper hand on the betting odds as well as on-court action against Miami Heat, who have gone onto trail 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals. Having not had Tyler Herro in the previous two games, their marquee players have failed to step up against Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown.
Moreover, with the likes of Al Horford and Robert Williams III present on the back-court, guarding the rim, Heat have found difficult to find open spaces consistently in games.
To think about Draymond Green’s prediction, Warriors would likely have a tough task on their hand if they lock horns against the Celtics as the other team too has all of their players healthy and in fine-form. Will we witness the most successful team in the league battling it out against the most successful modern-era franchise? Remains to be seen.
