“His software got some malware”- Fans hilariously troll Kawhi Leonard as he flips the birdie to the camera
Leonard and George
Kawhi Leonard and Paul George both are set to make their return on Monday. Both the stars have been out for the past few games as they both recover from their respective injuries. Los Angeles Clippers head coach Ty Lue has confirmed that both the star players would participate in the 4 road games starting from Monday. It would definitely be a sigh of relief for coach Lue and the Clippers organization to see Kawhi and his partner return to the court.
Giving an update on the report of Kawhi and George’s return Ty Lue said, “They felt good, It felt good and so, hopefully, we get them back very soon and they’re going on the trip. So that’s positive.” Leonard played in the first two of the three games of the season before he experienced stiffness in his knee, which was surgically repaired in October. Kawhi missed the entire last season after tearing his ACL in Game 4 of the Clippers vs the Utah Jazz.
Both Leonard and George are traveling with the team but were ruled out against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday in the Crypto.com Arena. The Clippers faced one of the worst losses of the season which came against the Kings. The Kings outscored the Clippers 123-96. Alluding to Kawhi’s return Ivica Zubac said, “We have to hold it up until they’re back and then when they’re back, hopefully soon, we can build some chemistry out on the court and some consistency.”
Fans react to Kawhi Leonard signaling middle finger at the camera
While the Clippers fans have been long anticipating their stars to return to the lineup. On Saturday George and Leonard were seen sitting beside each other and discussing something. As soon as Klaw saw the camera pointed at him he gestured with his both middle fingers to the cameraman. The gesture was unconventional and very unlike the 2x NBA Finals MVP as he is considered excessively reserved and unexpressive. Even the fans are shocked watching Kawhi Leonard flip both his fingers to the camera. You can find some of their reactions here below:
Despite both the stars absent from the lineup, the Clippers have performed considerably well into the season. However, since the start of the season both Leonard and George have spent only 65 minutes on the court in four games. Not playing together might pose another problem for the Clippers which might hinder their on-court chemistry. The same issue had the Clippers sink their ship in the 2020 playoffs in the Bubble.
