‘Told Magic Johnson a Ballsack report on TV’ – Fans react to ESPN’s Stephen A Smith falling prey to parody account’s fake “report” on Kyrie Irving and James Harden

Yet another ESPN employee falls prey to Twitter’s “Ballsack Sports” parody basketball page. This time it is the reputed Stephen A Smith who cites fake news of James Harden and Kyrie Irving as his “reports”.
ESPN is one of the most reputed sports channels in the world. The sports cable company which covers American sports mainly has been caught citing reports from parody accounts that go viral on the internet as their “sources”. This is not the first time ESPN has fallen prey to Ballsack Sports on Twitter.
Stephen A Smith, who has been working as a senior analyst and reporter for ESPN’s SportsCenter for nearly two decades now is trending on basketball Twitter for quoting a fake report from the parody page in an episode of First Take with legendary Magic Johnson of the great Lakers organization. The segment of this episode was structured around the James Harden – Ben Simmons trade between Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers.
“Especially when Kyrie looked him in the face, according to reports, and said, ‘you washed up.’ He said that to him. That’s part of the reason they had the falling out at Brooklyn,” said Smith on the show talking to Magic Johnson. Turns out Stephen A Smith’s “report” was actually a Ballsack Sports tweet that was a parody report on the situation with Harden and Irving.

The admin of the parody page himself replied to their parody report from February 11th which was used as a “source” by Smith on the ESPN show, “First Take”. Fans are in disbelief that the popular Twitter page once again baited a reputed organization. Check out some of the best reactions.
