Jonathan Kuminga is all over the NBA headlines as the 20-year-old forward looks ready and is set to make some noise on the bigger stage. As he recently displayed what the Warriors always wanted him to do on the court. The basketball world last night got the finals rematch and the results were the same. As Jonathan Kuminga and the Warriors handed out an embarrassing L to the Boston Celtics.

Recently, the Warriors hosted the Celtics at Chase Center and were dominating the away team from the first minute. They eventually won the game at 123-107 and now the Boston Celtics are no more undefeated against the Western Conference. Jayson Tatum wasn’t able to run the offense as Jonathan Kuminga and Klay Thompson did a great job on the Dubs’ defensive end.

So Jayson Tatum who is leading the MVP race was limited to only 18 points, 2 assists and 7 rebounds. Jaylen Brown though stepped up and dropped 31 points, 3 assists and 9 rebounds. But those weren’t enough to register a win against the Splash brothers. As Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson combined for 66 points and carried the Warriors across. They were backed up by Jonathan Kuminga (14 points, 3 assists and 5 rebounds) and Jordan Poole (20 points).

The game had many highlight-worthy moments but Jonathan Kuminga bullying and dunking over Jayson Tatum is loved by the fans. Kuminga in the match-up has shown out some glimpse of his future self and as said he really has the potential of becoming one of the best big men in the league.

In the fourth quarter with nine minutes and eleven seconds remaining Jonathan Kuminga gifted a poster to Jayson Tatum. As the young forward didn’t give up on the play and even after getting his first attempt blocked by JT, he went on to reach for the ball and got the job done by dunking over Jayson Tatum. Then on the defensive end, he even had some words for Marcus Smart who got fouled by Draymond Green. The fans though loved his dunk and you can find some of the many reactions for it here below:
