In a recent meeting with UFC strawweight champion Zhang Weili, he had a firsthand experience of the incredible power possessed by the pound-for-pound number 1 ranked female fighter in the UFC.

Zhang recently met up with Big Diesel at a gym where Shaquille O’Neal asked her to demonstrate some of her skills. Initially, Zhang lightly punched Shaq, but he encouraged her to punch as she did inside the cage. Zhang then landed a punch that still left Shaq visibly stunned. She then proceeded to lift Shaq with a single leg.

Shaq is an avid MMA fan and has attended many UFC events, attributing his success in the NBA to his MMA training. He was amazed by the UFC champion’s power. This was remarkable given that Shaq stands at 7’1″ tall and weighs over 350 pounds, creating a weight difference of almost 250 pounds between the two. Zhang, who is just 5’4” and fights at 115 pounds, lifting Diesel up is a feat that would surprise anyone.

Zhang is coming off a victory over Amanda Lemos agt UFC 292, where she successfully defended her title. She is currently in the process of recovering from the fight and is on the lookout for her next opponent.
