Initially, when news broke out that Draymond Green had assaulted his teammate Jordan Poole, things were seemingly alright with everybody brushing it off their shoulders. TMZ revealed the video which was leaked to them, that’s when everybody understood the magnitude of Green’s altercation with Poole.

Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas had a very interesting take of this matter. His told VladTV,“The Warriors are painting a picture… They have to justify why they won’t offer somebody a certain amount of money or a long-term deal. Jordan Poole is the new face coming up. Now, if the Warriors don’t re-sign Draymond, there is footage of why.”

Arenas accused the Warriors for purposely exposing what had happened to permanently damage Draymond Green’s chances of landing big bucks on other franchises. “We have practice cameras; we have camera cameras, we have people filming. It happened. Who is in control of it all now? The team,” said Arenas. He also claimed the Warriors could use this as a reason not to give Green a max offer sheet.

Ultimately, the Warriors did what they do best. Their culture may have a tough side but they always make sure to stay focused on the game and dominate. Draymond Green eventually admitted for doing what he had done out of anger. He even apologized to his team following the practice session that it took place in.

“Hurt people hurt people  I hurt someone because I was in a place of hurt,” he said according to the Washington Post. Green claimed he was battling terrible mental health. Despite all of this, the team quickly shifted focus onto the game. Right now, the Dubs are 9th in the Western Conference with 20 wins and 18 losses. Things are too great for them due to Stephen Curry’s injury. But with their existing roster, they have enough power to win easy games.
