“No one’s going to f**k with him,” Gilbert Arenas opinionated on Ime Udoka’s coaching career after cheating scandal
Gilbert Arenas and Ime Udoka
Gilbert Arenas is back in the NBA headlines and the reason this time is again a critical take of his. But on the receiving end this time we have Ime Udoka and not Giannis Antetokounmpo. Gilbert Arenas believes Ime Udoka’s coaching career in the league is done and dusted after his cheating scandal was revealed.
Recently, Gilbert Arenas appeared on Vlad TV and there he discussed the situation around Nia Long, Ime Udoka and their son. As the unmarried couple recently broke up after the cheating scandal was revealed. Ime Udoka was also handed a suspension by the Celtics for maintaining an inappropriate relationship with a subordinate. And, since then he’s out for the Boston Celtics.
In the past month, the Brooklyn Nets fired Steve Nash and there were rumors for Ime Udoka to be the new head coach. But many around and inside the league opposed that decision. As not many are willing to entertain him and give him that respect. Even though he was involved in a consensual relationship. Gilbert Arenas though believes no team will have him in.
Gilbert Arenas detailing his reason said: “I don’t think no one’s going to f**k with him anymore because of what is possibly still out there.” Further, Gibby went on to discuss what’s out there and what Ime Udoka has done which cost him his head-coach job.
When Gilbert Arenas was asked about the rumors of Ime Udoka joining the Nets. Arenas smartly responding to it said: “That was probably just to test the water… to see what the public says.”

Gilbert Arenas’ take on the situation around Nia Long and her son after Ime Udoka’s Scandal was revealed
The Boston Celtics have disappointed many around by the way they handled the Ime Udoka’s cheating scandal. Nia Long and her son’s life was affected the most as the news got public. And, opening about that time, Nia recently said: “If you’re in the business of protecting women — I’m sorry, no one from the Celtics organization has even called to see if I’m OK, to see if my children are OK. It’s very disappointing.”
Gilbert Arenas also has a very similar take against the Boston Celtics. As the former NBA player isn’t happy with the organization for not revealing the other person’s identity. In the interview, they did mention some details about the husband of the woman, whom Ime had a relationship with.
Further, Gilbert went on to say: “Now Nia Long’s… her comment makes sense. How are you protecting this one and she’s a cheater? She’s cheating on her husband, too. Why am I being blasted and you’re talking about protecting women? Why are you not protecting me and my family? Which is me and my son, but the adulterer is protected. You’re not seeing or hearing her name.”
Gilbert Arenas’ take is very sensible and understandable. Also, once Ime Udoka’s suspension is done the Celtics may have to answer many questions about the scandal. As fans won’t let them slide out of it.
