“Get the f**k off my team!” – Gilbert Arenas THRASHES D’Angelo Russell for wasting LeBron James’ masterclass
Arenas put the PG under fire for his dismal performances throughout the playoffs.

D'Angelo Russell and Gilbert Arenas
In a dominant display, the Denver Nuggets dealt a decisive blow to the LA Lakers, sweeping them out of the playoffs. Despite LeBron James‘ extraordinary individual contributions that propelled his team to this playoff stage, their advancement was abruptly halted. James showcased his exceptional skills in Game 4, setting a new record with an impressive 31 points scored in the first half. He added a total of 40 points in the game and was still the only one shouldering a comeback attempt. He was left alone by his teammates, notably D’Angelo Russell, who has recently been under fire from Gilbert Arenas.
D’Angelo Russell had an abysmal performance throughout the series. He displayed terrible shooting in the game and went on to practice shots after the game. James, after the Lakers’ loss in Game 1, had pointed out that his teammates need to be better. But still, nothing changed for him and the team.
Recently, Gilbert Arenas went on a rant against D’Angelo Russell and other Lakers players who were seemingly “sleeping.” Arenas said, “This is the last game of the season, Bron is there, what the f**k was the rest of y’all doing? Sleeping?” Arenas, while targeting Russell, said, “They wanna shoot shots after the game… The f**k you shooting after the [game].”
Arenas then went all out targeting the squad as he ridiculed them for wasting James’ marvelous performance and his efforts. He said, “You should’ve shot them during the game! How many shots did he [Russell] take after the last game? Probably like 200! To come to the next game & take 2 shots? Get the f**k off my team!”

D’Angelo Russell and the remainder of the squad DISAPPOINTED LeBron James throughout the series

The disappointment from the remainder of the squad, including D’Angelo Russell, came as no surprise to LeBron James. James, at the very end of Game 1 had pointed out that the squad needed to push harder from the onset of the game, which they didn’t do. Eventually, the Lakers suffered the fate due to the inaction of their own squad. James’ performance did go to waste, courtesy of Anthony Davis, D’Angelo Russell, and others.
Gilbert Arenas emphasized Russell and others being removed from the squad for their horrendous attempts. Arenas highlighted the hypocrisy of practicing several shots only to attempt 2-4 in the game. He added that it was wrong to James and the fans who put their all in the game.
While the Lakers are now out of the playoffs, James considers several possibilities, some of which could be retirement or changing teams. It’ll be interesting to see how the situation in the Lakers’ locker room progresses. Stay tuned for more updates!
