Indiana Pacers coach Rick Carlisle spoke about the MVP race and Embiid after the Pacer’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers and said – “Joel Embiid is probably the MVP with what their team is doing and how he’s elevated his game.”

Embiid seems to have every move in the book, as he has hit fadeaway jumpers and spot-up threes to win games. His versatility and efficiency are what gives him the edge in the MVP race

Joel Embiid has elevated his game this season, making it very hard to ignore his MVP case. Embiid is averaging a career-high in points and shooting over 50% from the field for only the second time. However, Embiid has been on a tear during this win streak, averaging 36 points, nine rebounds, and five assists per game.
The Sixers have leapfrogged the Boston Celtics to take the #2 seed in the East. However, the Celtics have booked their playoff berth already, and Philly is a few wins away.
