Giannis Antetokounmpo might be a bully on the court, but he is a sweetheart off it. The Greek Freak posted his third triple-double of the season in a win over the Miami Heat. However, the main focus was on the post-game interview where Giannis invited Heeth and Noah, two Make-A-Wish foundation kids. The two-time MVP introduced them as members of the Milwaukee Bucks and joked that he was disappointed the coach did not let them play.

Giannis started the interview by saying, “we only care about winning, we never look at the stat sheet.” He explained every question asked by the reporters to the kids first before answering himself. When asked about the Bucks’ win streak, he credited it to the good luck brought by Heeth and Noah. In one instance, the reporter asked about a no-look pass, and Giannis told the kids it was a “hee hee pass.

When you’re gone, people are going to remember the way you made them feel. I understand I’m in a position where I can touch people’s lives and make them feel good“, said Giannis. He has also prompted restaurant chain ‘Culvers’ to donate 54,000 diapers to the Milwaukee Diaper Mission in honor of his 54-point performance against the Los Angeles Clipper. “I try to make people feel good as much as I can, as that’s what they are going to remember,” Giannis concluded.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have caught fire

The Milwaukee Bucks are currently on a 9-game win streak after beating the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night. This is currently the best in the NBA and puts them one game behind the Boston Celtics. Giannis specifically has been on a tear during this run, averaging 37 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists. This includes two 50+ point games as well.

They will end their west road trip with a game against the Clippers on Friday night. The last time Giannis played the Clippers, he dropped 54 points. Once they travel back home, they’ll lock horns with the number one seed Boston Celtics in what promises to be a taster for the playoffs. When these two teams last matched up in December, Jayson Tatum dropped 41 points in a blowout Celtics win. Giannis will certainly be looking for revenge.

However, this time around, their matchup against the Celtics will be much different as the Bucks were missing three-time all-star Khris Middleton last time out. Moreover, the Bucks have great momentum on the back of these nine wins and will hope to keep the streak alive as long as they can. The Celtics, on the other hand have won just four of their last eight games and are on kind of a rough patch. However, one thing is sure; the battle between the Bucks and the Celtics is always entertaining to watch.
