The match itself was a display of the Los Angeles Lakers’ prowess, particularly evident in their second-quarter dominance. The Houston Rockets, despite a promising start, faltered, especially in the wake of their head coach Ime Udoka’s departure from the court. While players like Fred VanVleet and Alperen Sengun put up notable efforts, they couldn’t match the Lakers’ offensive drive, spearheaded by James and Anthony Davis.

Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka had this to say about the altercation with LeBron and the game in general:

We had a conversation and they didn't like what they heard, the refs… [it was between] me and the player [LeBron James]… Multiple turnovers and missed assignments on defense. I didn't love ur physicality… we had our chances to get back into it even in the second half and same thing happened there, turnoovers and poor shot selection. Every time wee got to 8 [poin-game[, sinngle digits we loomed back to 14.
