“She shooting her shot at my boy” Ja Morant gets courtside entertainment in WNBA games leaving fans in complete chaos as fight breaks loose

Ja Morant is arguably the most exciting young superstar in the NBA at the moment. The player has shown the grit and determination to win leading the Memphis Grizzlies into a deep playoff run last season. The met their true match, the Golden State Warriors, during the Western Conference semifinals. The Dubs’ experience had the upper hand in that battle, but the Grizzlies are not done yet.

A few months ago during the off season, Ja Morant showed up at a WNBA game that took place between the Connecticut Sun and Dallas Wings. This was the first round of the WNBA 2022 playoffs and things were pretty hyped up as both teams were tied 1-1 in the three game series. Connecticut had the lead and were clear winners that night.

Things got extremely competitive between both teams as Dijonai Carrington and Marina Mabrey started spitting words at each other on the court. All of this took place right in front of Ja Morant, who was seemingly entertained by the argument. Morant was giggling while it all went down. A double technical was called on both players after they split up.

Connecticut had their victory that night and eventually qualified to the WNBA Finals. They battled the Las Vegas Aces who had A’ja Wilson and league MVP Kelsey Plum on their roster. The Connecticut Sun were upset by the end of the series with the Aces taking home their first ever title. But this hilarious moment featuring Ja Morant went viral and fans started accusing the women of “shooting their shot” in front of the NBA superstar. Here are some fan reactions.

The Memphis Grizzlies had faced a similar situation during the second round of the NBA Playoffs last season against the Golden State Warriors. This situation was way more physical between Dillon Brooks, Gary Payton II and even Draymond Green. All said and done, both teams battled it out like true champions.

This season Ja Morant and company arrived with a bang. They are currently the 3rd seed in the Western Conference behind the Phoenix Suns (#1) and Denver Nuggets (#2). Morant has been averaging 28.6 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists per game on 47.3% shooting this season. He could be MVP bound if he manages to lead the Grizzlies onto the top spot in the West.
