“Y’all root for me no matter what” Ja Morant reacts to being the most hated player in the NBA

“Y’all root for me no matter what” Ja Morant reacts to being the most hated player in the NBA

Ja Morant

Ja Morant seemed to have no trouble with haters ranting here and there. They may doubt him as much they want, but he won’t let them into his mind and influence his thoughts. Although Morant isn’t for everyone, that doesn’t change the fact that he is a fantastic basketball player. And part of what makes him interesting to watch is the attitude and confidence he portrays, whether he’s on the court or in the stands supporting his team.

The Grizzlies guard reacted to a tweet claiming that Morant is the most hated player in the NBA right now by pointing out that it’s just talk. At the end of the day, he is quite aware of his admirers, who are always rooting for him. Morant has plenty of haters, but he couldn’t care in the slightest. Love him or hate him, Morant has no intention of changing his way of thinking anytime soon and if doing so results in him receiving more criticism, so be it and on the one hand, the 22-year-old may use it as nothing more than additional motivation.

Ja Morant’s noteworthy season for the Grizzlies

Ja Morant will re-sign with the Memphis Grizzlies on a contract extension that will pay him $193 million over five years and has a potential salary ceiling of $231 million. Memphis will be devoted to the Grizzlies’ human symbol for many years to come. This contract was really a formality for the point guard, who was named the NBA’s Most Improved Player in his third season and finished seventh in the league MVP voting. The second-overall pick in the 2019 draft just had his best season to date. The 2020 Rookie of the Year was eligible for the biggest contract extension this year after his second-team All-NBA selection and All-Star start this season.

The Grizzlies have completed what is undoubtedly their best season in team history under Morant’s leadership. They tied the 2012-13 club for the most victories in franchise history with 56, and Morant’s growth as a player was a major factor in that. He won the NBA’s Most Improved Player award with an average of 27.4 points and 6.7 assists per game, and if he continues to develop at the same rate, it won’t be long until he’ll be competing for MVP titles. The Golden State Warriors, the championship winners, may not have advanced if it weren’t for Morant’s injury, which ruined his season.

There is no denying that Ja Morant is the NBA player with the most intensity. But other people find his actions on and off the court to be offensive. Some people feel that he talks too much, while others say that his griddying is disrespectful and jarring given that the prevalent accusation is that he hasn’t yet shown any signs yet.
