“Suspend this moron for 20 more games for this bulls**t lie” – Ja Morant’s team’s RIDICULOUS EXCUSE about gun-totting video leaves NBA Twitter in disbelief
Ja Morant’s team claims the gun he flashed in an Instagram Live video was a toy, but NBA fans are not buying it.

Ja Morant’s team has offered a dubious explanation for his second gun-related incident in less than three months. The Memphis Grizzlies All-Star point guard was seen holding what appeared to be a firearm in an Instagram Live video while sitting in a car with others. According to a report from The Breakfast Club, Morant’s team said that the gun was actually a toy that belonged to a relative in the car and that Morant was handed it as a joke.
“My sources say that the relative in the back of the car in the back seat had a toy gun in the car,” revealed Claudia Jordan. “The gun is not real, and (the relative) was playing around with it. Passed it to Ja, and that got caught on the live he had in his hand. The video was sent to Adam Silver, NBA allegedly.“
This is not the first time that Morant has been caught on camera with a gun. In March, he was suspended for eight games by the NBA after he flashed a gun at a strip club in Denver. He also enrolled in a counseling program and apologized for his actions. He said he had learned from his mistake and promised to change his image.
However, it seems that Morant has not changed at all. On May 14, he was on Instagram Live again and showed another gun in a video. It is unclear whether the gun was the same one from the previous incident or whether it was really a toy. Either way, it was a poor decision by an NBA superstar who has millions of fans and followers who look up to him.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver was appalled by the video of Ja Morant’s gun brandishing and is considering a harsh suspension for the Grizzlies star. Silver will make his decision public after the conclusion of the NBA finals, where the Heat and Nuggets are battling for the title.

NBA Twitter reacted with disbelief and anger to Ja Morant’s team’s excuse

NBA fans have reacted with disbelief and anger to Morant’s team’s excuse. Many have called for Morant to be suspended for longer than his previous eight-game ban. Some have even suggested that he should be banned from the league altogether.
Here are some of the reactions on Twitter:
Morant has shown flashes of brilliance on the court, averaging 26.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 8.1 assists per game this season. However, his off-court incidents have overshadowed his on-court achievements and have raised questions about his character and judgment.
He still has time to turn his life around and redeem himself as a player and a person. But he needs to act fast before he loses everything he has worked so hard for.
