Jimmy Butler’s Heat “don’t give a damn” about UNDERDOG STATUS in NBA Finals, claims Gabe Vincent
Gabe Vincent claims the Miami Heat don't care about anything but winning.
Gabe Vincent and Jimmy Butler
Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat are a legendary 8th seed and are having a historic run this post-season. They have reached the 2023 NBA Finals and are facing the Denver Nuggets. On their way up they have already made history by knocking out Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks, and the Boston Celtics. But unfortunately, Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat never got the respect of the basketball world and were always crowned with the underdogs’ tag.
Now against the Denver Nuggets in the Finals, the story remains the same as the heavy favorites to win it all are the Nikola Jokic-led Denver Nuggets. Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat are once again disrespected and doubted by the basketball world. But they just don’t care about it. As they believe in putting in the work and getting the job done instead, of paying the unnecessary outside noise any attention.
The Jimmy Butler-led Miami Heat has now tied the series at 1-1, thanks to Gabe Vincent and his on-court greats. Gabe Vincent once again rescued the Miami Heat and got the dub at 108-111 behind his offensive heroics. And, after the game when he was discussing the underdog status of the team with Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and the crew, he threw out the same energy as the rest of the Heat team and even the head coach.
When Shaquille O’Neal talking about the Nuggets being the heavy favorites to win the NBA Finals questioned: “Are you guys a little upset that you’re not getting the respect that you deserve?” Replying to it Gabe Vincent quoted: “I speak for my whole team. When I say we don’t give a damn. We just want to get four wins. We don’t give a damn about none of the other stuff.” Gabe Vincent represented the whole Miami Heat roster who is locked in to prove themselves with his claim. And, now it’s fair to say that they just don’t care about anything but winning.

Gabe Vincent saves the day for Jimmy Butler-led Miami Heat against Denver Nuggets in Game 2
Miami Heat’s Gabe Vincent who’ll soon be a free agent once again proved to the league how great he is. He balled out against the Denver Nuggets. When his team was down and wanted someone to step up and bring in the lead. Gabe Vincent dropped 23 points and dished 3 dimes while signing the winning deal for the Miami Heat. The game was closely contested and head-to-head and everything came down to the final second. Jamal Murray had a chance to force OT but he missed the three-pointer.
Nikola Jokic got 41 points and Jamal Murray contributed with 18. But those weren’t enough to get past the Jimmy Butler and Gabe Vincent-led Heat. The series now will shift to Miami for the next two games. Both teams will be in action to get the lead.
Also, Gabe Vincent and the other undrafted players on the board for Miami are doing a great job keeping the team up. And, now they may have some help as Tyler Herro is nearing his return after 7 weeks.
