The Eastern Conference Finals, against all expectations, has now come down to the wire. The Boston Celtics have made a tremendous comeback to tie the series 3-3. Playing the Miami Heat, the Celtics were on the brink of elimination as they were down 3-0. However, they managed to pull themselves together and make sure they were still in the hunt for the NBA Finals spot. Game 6 saw an intense tussle between the two teams as the game was neck and neck. However, the Celtics prevailed at the buzzer as Jimmy Butler struggled with his shooting, with a 5-21 shooting night.
The Miami Heat could be at the receiving end of a historic Conference Finals comeback. Although they were favorites for a very long time, many believe that Boston might just walk into the NBA Finals after Game 7. Heat star Jimmy Butler thinks otherwise. Butler spoke to the press in the post-game interview when he was asked about his experience during the final moments of the game. He replied and explained his confidence in the team for the final Game 7.
“Basketball for you,” Butler said as he started to talk about his experience during the final play of Game 6. “That’s good basketball. I think I believe, as we all that you get the same test until you pass it. We were in the same position last year. We can do it. I know that we will do it.” he said. “We gotta go on the road and win in a very tough environment. But we’re capable of it so let’s get busy,” Butler concluded in a very calm and nonchalant tone.

Can the Miami Heat win Game 7?
Apart from their slip-ups in Game 4, 5 and 6, the Miami Heat have been exceptional in the 2023 playoffs. They have surprised everyone with their phenomenal run this postseason. The Heat faced the mighty Milwaukee Bucks in the first round and caused them a great upset. Moreover, Jimmy Butler has been in fine touch as he’s leading the side really well.
On the other hand, the Boston Celtics reek of dominance. Even though they were down 3-0, they’ve bounced back, proving to everyone why they’re a force to reckon with. The duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown has proven to be fatal for every opposition that the Celtics play against. Moreover, Boston has tightened their defensive screws with players like Al Horford.
There’s no doubt that either team could walk away with the win in Game 7. On the one hand, the Boston Celtics have all the momentum they need to advance to the NBA Finals. However, Miami has its back against the wall and would surely put up a fierce fight. It will be interesting to see how the series finale pans out. Will the Celtics create history? Or will the Heat play their second NBA Finals in four years?
