“What the f**k is wrong with you?” Kendrick Perkins claps back at Draymond Green for calling him out as a ‘CLOWN’

Draymond Green and Kendrick Perkins
Draymond Green, Golden State Warriors won the 2022 NBA championship and there were no surprises as they were clearly the most dominant team throughout the postseason. But their players didn’t stop there, as some of them took center stage hitting back at the critics who doubted the Warriors’ legacy. Draymond in particular was leading the charge and he went on to declare that it won’t stop there. He will make sure that he will give a “fitting reply” to each and every doubter in the coming days. Recently he targeted the Celtics’ former star, Kendrick Perkins by calling him a “clown”. The comment hit Perkins hard, who later took the help of social media to express his anger.
Perkins took a strong stand against Draymond Green – especially against the comments he made. Perkins said that Golden State Warriors’ forward could have used bad words about the show, analysis, or Perkins’ views; but calling him Clown was a very powerful and aggressive point. It literally could damage Perkins’ image as an analyst. Let us go through the rant between the two.
Kendrick Perkins and Draymond Green face off virtually over the New Media rant
Golden State Warriors were on target for many reasons throughout the season. They started off poor in 2022, but kept pace with the league opponents and made it to the postseason comfortably. Some poor plays were hugely targeted by many sports TV Personalities and never given due respect. Warriors’ kept on playing their game but kept the receipts of all the taunts given on television.
In NBA Finals also, the Warriors’ played as underdogs – as the Celtics received huge support from the host of TV analysts and presenters. Kendrick Perkins also was not left behind and supported his former team to win the title, since he last picked up the trophy. He even had made a strong comment about Curry not winning any title in the next 4 years.
But after winning their 4th NBA title in 8 seasons, Draymond Green targeted Celt’s big man for picking the “wrong side”. He questioned Perkins’ game sense calling him “Clown” and also talked about how “old media” is more into the conspiracies around the game rather than an actual game. He claims that JJ Redick, CJ McCollum, and himself have successful media careers because they “teach” people about the game and never go into the wrong side. And as per Green, that’s “new media” working, which people are accepting over the old one. Draymond Green said, “Because of all these dumb talking heads that never done it, they don’t understand it, even the ones who has done it don’t act like hes done it cause hes an idiot & a moron & wasn’t really that good of a player. I am talking about Kendrick Perkins btw”
Kendrick Perkins seemed pissed with the “clown” word and fired back at the Warriors’ former defensive player award winner. He said that Draymond was targeted for his ineffective play on various occasions, and now that they have won the championship, Green is making ‘unnecessary’ comments on the TV personalities who targeted him earlier.
Draymond, in his video, asked Perkins to “stand on his words” after making comments, to which angry Perkins said that he will stand on a reality that no one should disrespect others. He intentionally added “especially by you” as Perkins considers that Green performed poorly in the games.
Draymond Green seems to be on roll targeting most of the analysts who put a question mark on the Warriors’ capabilities. While big man Perkins returned him the favors, it was Perkins who gave a big “0” to the Warriors’ chances of winning any title in near future. Maybe it was his views that hurt Green or the comments without considerate knowledge of the game (as per Draymond) that made him angry. Perkins also made some personal comments on Draymond before, and now it looks like Green is making most of his “winning” time just giving it back to everyone else.
