This time, Kendrick Perkins is viral in the headlines as he got his predictions for the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets matchup right. He had the Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown led Boston Celtics backed up against the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving led Brooklyn Nets. Unfortunately, this wasn’t expected by him as he wasn’t on that good terms with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum after all the dirt and criticism he threw at them. But now he is riding their bus and has a perspective of the Celtics sweeping out the Nets.
The Brooklyn Nets have already been on a roller-coaster since the start of the season fighting through injuries, team adjustments due to trades, Kyrie’s vaccination saga, and the play-in tournament. But when things were finally good and back on track for them the Celtics gave them a big surprise in the postseason. As the Jayson Tatum-led Boston Celtics are leading the series by 3-0 and have a real shot at sweeping the duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving out at their home arena of Barclays Center. Even Kendrick Perkins believes that the Celtics are going to outshine them and win it all in their next match-up.
After Game 3 of the series where the Celtics turned it all around lately and registered another dub. Kendrick Perkins celebrating his prediction out reminded Stephen A. Smith about his words while he took a shot at the duo of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving which is struggling against the defensive end of the Boston Celtics as their offense is limited when closely contested or physically played out.

Kendrick Perkins started off with a friendly reminder for his mate Stephen A. Smith on Twitter where he quoted: “Hey @stephenasmith are you there? I tried to tell ya old as* after Game 1 and Game 2 that the Celtics were punking KD. I’ll see you Tuesday morning homeboy. Carry the hell on…” Further, Kendrick Perkins took a shot at Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving via his personal Twitter handle and quoted: “So what are we going to say if the most Skilled Duo of All-Time gets swept?! Just saying….”
Kendrick Perkins isn’t all wrong with his take on the Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics. As Kevin Durant is really getting locked up by his rivals who are out for revenge and will surely try to advance ahead with a 4-0 win in the series and wrap it up for the Nets. But you never know what happens next as Ben Simmons will be returning for Game 4 and Kevin Durant alongside Kyrie Irving surely has the potential to step up and turn around the narrative for the series and maybe even advance to the next round because he is one of the greatest scorers ever for some reasons.
