“Different shades to this light skin business!” Kendrick Perkins worships Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson following Warriors domination over the Celtics

Stephen Curry continues his reign at the top of the league after ripping apart the top ranked team, Boston Celtics. Along with the Chef stood strong his partner in crime, Klay Thompson, who also dominated the game offensively. This is the first time since the NBA Finals both teams met on the court. Considering all the doubt and the rough start the Dubs had, this victory was simply the icing on the cake.

NBA Analyst Kendrick Perkins could not help himself from giving praise to the splash brothers. He took to Twitter and said, “Klay and Steph showing Tatum its different shades to this light skin business!!!! I’m just saying…” It seems as though Perk was in awe of their performance against the Celtics. And it’s very rare to get such a reaction from a retired veteran like him.

Klay Thompson had an incredible night and this ought to teach everybody a lesson that he has not lost his groove. Coming into this season, KT struggled to perform from deep and score. He finished with 34 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and a block going 4-11 from deep. Klay averaged 27.5 points per game since the start of December.

The Boston Celtics have been nothing short of impressive this season securing the top seed in the league with a record of 21-6. Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have been arguably the best duo in the league as well. But the Warriors that defeated them in NBA Finals last season came lurking around the corner to remind the Celtics they still have a lot more to prove before snatching away a title for themselves.

Stephen Curry especially, dominated the Celtics. It was a very impressive showing since he managed to averaged 31.2 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists per game against Marcus Smart, 2021-22’s defensive player of the year. It was certainly a comeback story of the decade.
