Kevin Hart was hosting the NBA Unplugged show on ESPN for tonight’s In-Season Tournament finals. Throughout the show, he had Patrick Beverley join with his PatBev Podcast. Beverley proceeded to ask Hart about his opinion regarding the Josh Giddey situation.
Kevin Hart, known to not get into any controversial discussions was quick to divert the question to the rest of the cast. The rest of the cast was talking about the latest developments in the situation as Hart continued to watch the game.
Patrick Beverley cut the cast short and mentioned that he knows what is showing up in the news. Rather he wanted Kevin Hart’s personal opinion. Hart again diverted the topic by informing Beverley that he would rather text each other and not talk about it on the show. He said that as a brand, he cannot comment on the topic publicly.
It seems Hart is conscious to not talk about controversial topics on national television. He knows whatever he speaks will follow him around and may impact his image in some way.
