It doesn’t take much time for the OGs to remember who he was and why he got famous. The main reason behind Kris Humphries to be in the NBA headlines during 2010-2013 was Kim Kardashian and they really have a story worth hearing. As the now retired player and the television personality tied the knot publically back in 2011, only to file for divorce after 72 days of marriage and receiving the bag.
Kris Humphries was really the most hated player out there as he won that spot over LeBron James and Kobe Bryant. But today fans laugh out at him and his marriage story. But the hate back in the days was real as just an average role player got rich and infamous by marrying the television star Kim Kardashian and then parting ways once the bag was in. And yeah, Kris Humphries and Kim really got a bag for just marrying each other by several companies who came to them with endorsements to get a piece of the attention they were getting. They made around $17 million while tying the knot the very similar amount the NBA player made during his career in the league at that time.
Many fans believed it was staged by both of them. As popping the question was already a brave move Kris Humphries who wasn’t really riding with the not so affordable expenses Kim Kardashian had. They met in 2010, got married in 2011, filed for divorce in 2011 itself and officially parted ways with each other in 2013. During this sweet little timeline of theirs, the NBA player who never really got a home on and off the court had a very tough time going through all of it and that’s exactly when and where his career wrapped up. As after not giving up for several years and trying to be in the system he lost and announced his retirement on March 2016, 2019.

Kris Humphries in the past years has spent most of his time in Minnesota and is living the best possible life out there. But his career could have been better and greater in the league but unfortunately, he wasn’t able to separate his professional and personal life as his downfall both on and off the court was seen by millions on television. But since then he has stayed away from the spotlight and has decided to keep his things down and private as he has moved on in his life even though surely regrets some of his decisions. But one thing we know as claimed by the forward himself is that his relationship with Kim Kardashian was “100% real” and unfortunately now that same relationship has messed him and his career up.
