Kyrie Irving CHALLENGES 46-year-old entrepreneur to 1-on-1 basketball match for ‘running his mouth’

Kyrie Irving is back in the NBA headlines, and the reason is again a media member. But this time it’s the founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy. They have been beefing for a few days, and now Kyrie Irving wants to end it with a pick-up game. As he challenged Dave Portnoy on Twitter after being called out by the entrepreneur for recruiting LeBron James to the Dallas Mavericks.

Dave Portnoy has some pure hatred for Kyrie Irving since he left his favorite team, the Boston Celtics, in the 2019 offseason to join hands with Kevin Durant at Brooklyn Nets. Since then, Dave Portnoy has been using any and every opportunity to thrash Kyrie Irving. Their recent beef started with Dave Portnoy calling out Kai as a scammer for recruiting LeBron James to join the Dallas Mavericks.

Kyrie Irving didn’t let that slide and issued a karma warning to the founder of Barstool Sports for running his mouth. But Dave Portnoy cares the least, as he continued clowning Uncle Drew even during the Heat-Nuggets NBA Finals. And, recently tweeting about the insider’s strike, he once again mentioned Kyrie Irving in his tweet.

Dave Portnoy on Twitter wrote: “Welp it looks like the king of the scumbags @hblodget is trying to steal from everyday workers again. Ordinarily, I’d feel bad for @thisisinsider workers but they are all scumbags over there. They deserve each other. Ps -@KyrieIrving so far so good on the Karma police.” This didn’t slide well with Kyrie Irving and he challenged Dave Portnoy to play some real basketball with him.

As Kyrie Irving retweeted Dave Portnoy’s tweet where he mentioned how he’s going good with karma police and wrote: “I get it David. Enjoy these clips for Now. And if you ever wanna lace ‘‘em up and play ones and earn my respect,  instead of always running your mouth, I am here. Hélà ??♾” Kai is ready to give Dave his respect if he’s able to get a dub against him on the court.

Dave Portnoy agrees to play 1v1 against Kyrie Irving

Dave Portnoy didn’t take a lot of time to accept the challenge and is down to run a pick-up game against Kyrie Irving. He also believes he can clown one of the best guards in the league’s history. As accepting the challenge, he tweeted, “F*ck it. I’ll play you 1 v 1. I’ll beat you 21-17.   I’ll back you down in the paint 17 time and shoot 4 jumpers right in your face. Name a time and place. But no healthy scratches. When I say I’m gonna do something I do it.”

Once Dave Portnoy accepted the challenge and was down to go against Kyrie Irving. The guard replied with a complete blueprint for the event by writing: “How about we do it in SwampScott, Massachusetts or at TD Garden David? I want to make sure this 1v1 is on your turf, in your hometown. I’ll bring my A11even Tribe(Army). And after we play, you can take us all around your hometown and we break. Bread at your Parents crib. Hélà ??♾”

Dave has yet to respond to it, even though we all know how the matchup will go down. It will still be fun to watch and can help free agent Kyrie Irving get a better deal. The future of the talented guard is still uncertain, even though he has made up his mind for his career ahead. He has yet to announce that, and he recently recruited LBJ to join him and Luka Doncic at the Mavericks.
