Kyrie Irving SHOCKINGLY defends Ja Morant over his recent gun controversy, questions ‘why do rules change for celebrities?’

Kyrie Irving

Kyrie Irving went live on Twitch last night to get his thoughts out and had some interesting things to say about the Ja Morant situation. “He (Ja Morant) isn’t the only one to deal with real-life circumstances. He won’t be the only one. I’m going to stand. I’m going to make sure I am there for my family and my friends,” said Kyrie on his stream. Kyrie feels Ja is not alone and he just made a mistake as humans do.

We all make mistakes, we all do things that we regret. But somehow when you’re famous you’re underneath different rules?” said Kyrie. Irving feels that NBA stars are held to a higher standard of moral values than the common man and is not okay with that. Kyrie feels Ja needs to be looked at like any other person and not put on a higher moral standard because of his actions.

Kyrie Irving himself has been in enough controversies over the past few years and fans are not surprised that he is defending Ja Morant. Kyrie preaches a philosophy of forgiving and forgetting and is never afraid to speak his mind. The Australian was involved in an anti-vaxxing scenario in 2021 and was barred from playing games that season so he knows how it feels to be out when you are fit to play.

Kyrie Irving’s thoughts on NBA fans on his Twitch stream were interesting to say the least. “3 hours and you think you know who I am. You see a few posts ‘Oh KAI is woke’. ‘He just doesn’t fit into the mold’,” said Kyrie. Irving feels NBA fans are too quick to judge and form opinions on him as they just watch him on TV for three hours a few times a week.

Kyrie talked about how there are 21 more hours in the day which fans don’t see which would change the way they look at him. Irving spoke on how fans are always asking questions and forming opinions about his old teams and teammates without considering his views. Kyrie has left franchises and relationships with former teammates on a sour note but never likes talking about it.

Kyrie Irving is not the best person for Ja to listen to as Ja is in trouble at the moment for those ’21 hours’ after the game. Ja is a big social media guy unlike Kyrie and loves to show the world his life outside the NBA. Kyrie defends Ja for what he did as he too wishes he could tell fans what his life was like outside those three hours. Kyrie’s antics make fans around the league tired more than anything and him supporting Ja only makes matters more awkward.
