Suspended Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving came out on social media to convey his views to the world on antisemitism. The Nets management had suspended him for sharing a link to a film having antisemitic content. He has now missed six straight games in the league.

Kyrie Irving shared a coded tweet recently on his Twitter handle, where he quoted, “I was not put here on earth to participate in any religious/political wars or incite racial disharmony/prejudice within communities. We are all equal under the sun and I am here to participate in the building of an Equal world and follow the Word from the Most High/GOD/YAH,” with an emoji of crossed fingers and an ’infinity’ sign ahead.

Kyrie continues to be out of his NBA team as he hasn’t still completed the list of terms assigned to him. The management made it clear that even though he is scheduled to miss five games, the suspension can be extended unless he fulfills the requirements to return to the line-up. Earlier, he met NBA commissioner Adam Silver and the Nets owner Joe Tsai. Both of them talked optimistically about their meeting with him but refused to give detailed insight. As soon as the tweet from Kyrie went viral, fans were quick to give mixed reactions to it. Some of the tweet reactions can be seen below:

Brooklyn Nets to take on the Sacramento Kings next as Kyrie Irving might make a return to the team

The Nets take on the Sacramento Kings on their home turf at the Barclays Centre. They will look to pocket their fourth straight win at home. However, ESPN reported that Kyrie Irving might return before Tuesday’s game but no official announcement hasn’t been made. Kyrie missed the sixth game of the league against the LA Lakers as his suspension continues.

Even if he makes a comeback, it will be interesting to see whether he gets on the court immediately. Sacramento is third in the Western Conference averaging 116.8 points while shooting 48.4% from the field. The Nets have a few injuries in the team, as Seth Curry and T.J. Warren are likely to miss out.

On the other hand, Kevin Durant is averaging 30.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.9 blocks for the Nets. Kyrie Irving is averaging 15.4 points over the past ten games he has played for Brooklyn. It will be interesting to see who will prevail at the top; also, will Kyrie Irving be in the starting five if his suspension ends is another big question.
