The fan went viral on Wednesday after he banked a half-court shot during a break in Wednesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings. The fan got the attention of everyone not just because of his luck, but also due to how he effortlessly drained the long-range bomb for the $70,000 reward. It was the third time in the season that a Lakers fan has hit the half-court shot.
Yet another Laker fan went viral for hitting a half-court shot to win an explosive $70k reward. He won his money on Wednesday night when James and the Lakers were facing the Sacramento Kings in the Crypto.com arena. It was not just the luck of the fan that amazed those people on the stand and on social media. It was his confidence that stood out for most of the fans. He came to the court without leaving an ounce of confidence dropped on the courtside. He spun the ball on his finger, prepared a free throw dribble, and drained a running half-court shot in the ring.
As LeBron and his team lost yet another game of the season, the LA fans on the internet started to say that the owner should sign this guy as a long-range shooter for the team. LeBron shot 11 of 25 from the field, he was also inefficient from the three-point line. De’Aaron Fox scored team-high 31 points for the Kings in a 116-111 win over the Lakers.
