Kyrie Irving has surprised the NBA world by requesting a trade out of Brooklyn Nets. The Nets and Kevin Durant are also surprised by this request from Uncle Drew. The season has really been very dramatic for Kyrie Irving and now with the trade deadline just some days away, he wants out of the Nets. He wanted an extension with the Nets to continue but unfortunately, he has lost that trust because of being unavailable.
Kyrie Irving past offseason picked up his player option with the Nets and was even locked in. Uncle Drew even made claims to never leave Kevin Durant and now we have him bouncing off. But honestly, he can’t be the only one blamed for it. As the Nets aren’t willing to offer him an extension and are even wanting to put a clause of winning a championship in his contract. That disrespect is probably the reason Irving wants out of the Nets as many reports claim.
Kyrie Irving has really taken the disrespect personally and now reports even claim him to not sign a max extension offered. As that was a big insult to him. But unlike last time when he was placed in the market, things are different this time with teams wanting him on their roster. Some of the front runners are Los Angeles Lakers, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns.
Kyrie Irving is one of the most talented guys around the league without a doubt and it’s just his availability and off-court-drama which have ruined his name. So far in the season, he’s averaging 27.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 5.3 assists, 1 steal and 0.8 blocks.
The Lakers were already in the discussions to get Uncle Drew on the roster. And, now it’s all serious with various rumors and claims hinting at a reunion of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. And, unexpectedly Lakers Legend Magic Johnson and LeBron James himself are welcoming him with open arms.

The Lakers since the offseason wanted to bring Irving to Los Angeles. But chasing the bag he ended up picking his player option. And, now with trade deadline around there are serious chances of him joining hands with LeBron James to get another title. Even King James is wanting the same to happen too. As sending out a cryptic tweet via his personal Twitter handle he made his feelings very clear.
LeBron James didn’t specifically write anything but emojis were loud enough for fans to understand. As he tweeted: “??.” Even Lakers Legend joined the chat and is riding with Kyrie Irving joining the Hollywood-based team. As Magic Johnson keeping no secrets sent out a very specific tweet. He wrote: “Personally, I’d love to see Kyrie in the purple and gold.”
A trade sending Kyrie Irving to the Los Angeles Lakers to reunite with LeBron James is very possible. But the Lakers might have to give away their draft picks and a star player from their roster. It would be a tough decision for the franchise. But the basketball world is already smiling thinking about LeBron James and Kyrie Irving reuniting to dominate.
