LeBron James is one of the most athletic players to ever play in the history of the league. He has posterized multiple legends and still possesses the capability to dunk on anyone, but his ability to do so has diminished over the years and at 38 years old, LeBron tries to minimize the load on his body. 

In a recent game against the Phoenix Suns, LeBron James had an impressive game. He played 35 minutes and scored 21 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, dished out 9 assists and had 6 straight points in the straight quarters to help the Lakers seal their first win of the season against the Suns 100-95.

In the game, LeBron had many moments where he split the defense to score a basket. One such moment came in the fourth quarter when LeBron grabbed a  rebound and ran coast to coast just like in Year 1 and almost dunked on Kevin Durant. He would have been successful if KD hadn’t fouled him. LeBron still got the two points and got the Lakers ahead and helped them secure the win.

LeBron is nowhere close to his peak physical strength as he was during his first stint in Cleveland or during his time in Miami, his dunks have become less physical as he tries to preserve himself from injuries and help his team win.

LeBron would try to stay healthy over dunking over people as he pursues his fifth championship this season. The Lakers are currently 1-1 in the season and would hope that they finish the season with a great record and LeBron stays healthy for a complete postseason run.
