If there is one sport that LeBron James enjoys watching as much as basketball, it is NFL. The Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles had everything a football fan could ask for. However, according to the Los Angeles Lakers star, not everything went right during the game. In fact, he called out the referees for a bad call during crunch time.

It appears that either James has been trolling referees recently as a result of a string of bad calls against him, or they really have been making some bad calls. During the game, the 19-time All-Star tweeted about a bad call and stated that such rulings should not happen in the Super Bowl. “Sorry but I don’t like that call! Not for the Super Bowl man!” James wrote. Apparently, during the play, Chiefs’ JuJu Smith-Schuster was held from behind by Eagles’ James Bradberry.

However, the replay showed that it was not a clear foul. According to the four-time NBA champion, Bradberry hand on Schuster had no effect on movement. “His hand on his back had no effect on his route!” he wrote. “This game was too damn good for that call to dictate the outcome at the end. Damn! By the way I have no horse in the race. Just my professional opinion,” added the superstar. The Chiefs defeated the Eagles with a 38-25 score to win Super Bowl LVII.

The GOAT debate has become even more intense with LeBron James’ breaking the scoring record

LeBron James after breaking the scoring record

LeBron James sits alone at the summit of the mountain of points, and it is certain that he will continue to climb. He is the epitome of what an athlete should be in terms of adaptability and longevity. After breaking Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record recently, many believe that the Los Angeles Lakers star has nothing more to prove that he is the GOAT. Given his numerous awards, from MVPs to championships, and the fact that he ranks fourth all-time in assists, many consider James to be the most complete player in basketball history.

Many individuals still hesitate to place James ahead of Michael Jordan in the debate. However, the King has done everything he can to cement his place among the greatest by becoming the scoring leader. At 38, he still continues to play at an unprecedented high level on the court. With four NBA championships, four Finals MVPs, four league MVPs, and now the all-time scoring record under his belt, he has firmly established himself as one of the greatest players ever to grace the NBA floor.
