Even though the Los Angeles Lakers have already been swept out of the Conference Finals, bad times don’t seem to be ending for LeBron James, who gave it his all. The Lakes’ conference finals series against the Denver Nuggets was a tragedy like never before. The Lakers lost 4-straight games, never getting an opportunity to make a comeback. LeBron James singlehandedly tried to get his team back in contention, but it was all far from reach.

Kwame Brown, ex-Laker and Kobe Bryant’s former teammate, didn’t like what happened with the Lakers. He decided to call out James for what it is as he went after the player’s strategies and intentions. Brown called James words ranging from stat sheet junkie to a bad boy etc. Brown said, “You a stat sheet junkie… you a bad boy when it come to stats. Throughout history, the nerds are gonna look up to your stats and they’re gonna say: ‘he gotta be the greatest to ever play the game.’”

He then said. “And people who actually played are gonna know, that is bullshit.” Brown didn’t hold back a single bit as he said, “I have never seen a guy of your caliber, your supposed caliber, won’t even get a shot off? We don’t even know if you would’ve hit the goddamn shot. Where’s your little touch move? You’re probably the best scorer in the game… you got all these points. But you were looking for a bailout, again.”

Kwame Brown then quoted Kobe, saying, “Kobe Bryant would’ve probably looked up to that ni**a, rolls up for a three and won the game. That’s what great people do. You can’t say that you’re great, you gotta do great things. Not no ni**a who’s driving to the basket looking for people to bail him out.”

James and his team have suffered the most brutal defeat in recent times at the hands of the Denver Nuggets. While James and Anthony Davis made it a point to highlight that the Nuggets were the toughest team they had ever faced, it still doesn’t help the fans. Most of them are after the likes of Davis and D’Angelo Russell for their terrible performances throughout the series. While James carried his team to the playoffs, his teammates couldn’t turn up the switch when it mattered the most.

James pointed out that a lack of effort from his teammates in Game 1 didn’t impact the squad further. Though, the likes of Kwame Brown and others felt that it was all an excuse and nothing else.

While Brown and others complain, James has a lot on his plate to figure out. The post-game comments made by him after Game 4 have confused the world. So what is James’ next move? Stay tuned to find out!
