“Better than any Laker game in the past 5 years!” Declining LeBron James gets HORRIBLY trolled for praising the Bills vs Vikings game on Twitter
LeBron James, Justin Jefferson's catch
LeBron James, the star player for the Los Angeles Lakers is infamously a fan of the NFL and was extremely impressed by the thrilling game between the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings last night. Superstar Viking Justin Jefferson made a great play during the game that made James shout out to him on Twitter.
Before Minnesota’s final offensive possession in the week 10 game against the Buffalo Bills, Justin Jefferson was already having a dominant performance. On Sunday’s fourth-quarter Minnesota Vikings possession, the star wide receiver caught a long pass from Kirk Cousins, snatching the ball from Bills defender Cam Lewis. Jefferson finished with 10 receptions for 193 yards and a touchdown but it was his stunning catch that caught everyone’s eye, notably LeBron James.
LeBron James was thrilled with the game and couldn’t quit praising it. He was emphatic about how stunned he was and referred to it as the game of the year. Bron expressed his amazement on Twitter after seeing the wild conclusion by stating: “By FAR the game of the YEAR that was!! WOW WOW WOW.” James is not alone in feeling this way, other athletes also reacted a similar way about the Bills-Vikings game and people have praised Justin Jefferson for giving them such a special experience.

LeBron James and his football career that showcases his love for NFL
LeBron James is sometimes compared to Michael Jordan when people debate who the greatest basketball player of all time is as he is generally deemed as one of the elite players in NBA history. If he hadn’t stuck with basketball, he possibly could have become an all-time great in another sport like football. James was regarded as Ohio’s top football prospect throughout the two football seasons he played while still in high school. Numerous prestigious colleges expressed interest in signing him as a recruit, but he was determined about his intention to play basketball and join the NBA.
James was a wide receiver at his high school and was named to the first team of the state after catching 103 receptions for 2,065 yards and 23 touchdowns. James’s two seasons of 23 receiving touchdowns were in part due to his acrobatic abilities. He was expected to be on track to play four complete years which would rank his receiving touchdowns as seventh in Ohio high school history. James did get a few offers to play in the NFL as well. They appeared during the 2011 NBA lockout when a few savvy NFL recruiters attempted to lure James while he was off the court.
Therefore as a former football star himself, James has stated again over the years that if he had gone to tryouts with the Seahawks, Browns, or Cowboys– his favorite team–he would have been signed. When the offers were being considered, he was 26 years old and playing with the Miami Heat. This is how fans on Twitter reacted to Lebron’s analysis of the Vikings vs Bills game:
But the main problem for LeBron James now is, after getting hurt lately against the Clippers, he has now missed two games for the Lakers. Without LeBron, they might have fallen to the Kings, but they beat Kevin Durant and the Nets on Sunday night, and just ahead of the Houston Rockets, the squad is second-to-last in the West region. They are becoming worse and worse, and Lakers supporters are losing patience. They want them to win right away to prevent what could be a historically bad season for the team.
