The famed Air Jordans have always had a sense of popularity and demand for them. After all, the demand for Michael Jordan‘s apparel has continuously been going up. Especially since the release of the Netflix documentary ‘The Last Dance’. The popular shoe brand has made the headlines today again as one of Jordan’s 1998 NBA finals pair was sold for a whopping $2.2 million. These pair of shoes were worn and signed by Jordan and featured in the Netflix documentary.
This isn’t the only item of Jordan’s that has been sold for a huge amount. The former Bulls guard’s NBA Finals Game 1 jersey was previously sold for over $10 million in 2022. This item, too, is suspected to have grown in demand due to the aforementioned documentary. The pair of Air Jordans 13s now join the list of the most expensive sold Michael Jordan items.
