Trevor Ariza has never seen a bright day in a very long while. After facing several issues personally with his off-court relationships, things have only gotten worse for the veteran forward. TMZ announced that he has gotten a divorce from his wife over “irreconcilable differences.”
This has been a very common occurances for a good portion of divorces that take place daily. Bree Anderson has beenmarried to the NBA veteran for four years now but filed the papers earlier this week to call off their commitment with each other. According to the TMZ report, she demands physical custody of their children as well.
Trevor Ariza and his history with being unlucky
This is not the first time Trevor Ariza is being caught up in a situation with a partner. Back in 2020, one of his ex-partner took him to court after he was accused by her of physical abuse against their child. Ironically, his luck panned out for the better after he denied the allegations and the judges agreed to let him walk away with a clean slate.
His career in the NBA has not been the same however. Ever since he departure from the Houston Rockets, he has not found a permanent home for himself. He was signed by the Los Angeles Lakers last season but only got to play 24 games averaging 4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game.
The player was battling serious ankle injuries since the start of the 2021-22 Season before being able to make his debut with the Lakers. In April, he was waived by the organisation just three days before the conclusion of the regular season. The current free agent has not found a team to sign with yet.
