“That’s why he was motivated to win an NBA Championship” NBA Fans troll Ime Udoka for having an intimate relationship with female member
Ime Udoka made headlines after word spread around about his scandalous locker room affair. The Boston Celtics coach has been very successful in working towards building a championship contending team but it seems like his career with them or the NBA might be coming to an abrupt halt.
The league has been thrown upside down with the latest atrocities taken place. Beginning with the suspension and release of Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver. Ever since, the NBA has been on high alert to try in protecting their employees, but it turns out some of them might be mindfully involving themselves in scandals as such.
Ime Udoka was found out having some sort of an extra marital affair with a female co-worker. The relationship was definitely romantic and consensual according to league sources. But despite it consensual, this comes as a violation of code of conduct set by the Celtics organisation. The Head Coach will be suspended indefinitely but sources claim it may be at most a year.
Nia Long left in shambles on husband Ime Udoka’s scandal
Ime Udoka was not fully into a committed marriage but had plans of having one at some point with long time girlfriend/fiancee Nia Long. The couple had met a decade ago in 2010 before confirming their love with an engagement five years later. But it turns out Ime was not fully invested into his relationship with Nia.
As far as his future with the Celtics and the NBA, reporter Chris Mannix tweeted saying that Udoka has thought about resigning from his post as head coach. However, the franchise has no intention of firing him, yet. It is said that assistant coach Joe Mazzulla will take over the job for the time being until further notice.
Fans have been firing at the situation from all over the world and most of them have turned this dire moment into a meme. Here are a few reactions to the issue.
