It’s difficult to argue against Paul George’s claims, given Luka Doncic’s remarkable achievements in his relatively short NBA tenure. The Slovenian talent has been named to the All-Star and All-NBA First Team annually since his second year in the league. Such feats are remarkable milestones, rarely seen in even the most talented NBA players’ careers.

Doncic had already made a name for himself in European basketball arenas before stepping on an NBA court. The 6-foot-7 guard, who played for Real Madrid Baloncesto, won the EuroLeague championship in 2018 and established his dominance in European basketball by winning MVP and Final Four MVP awards.

However, the journey hasn’t been without its fair share of challenges. The 2022-23 NBA season witnessed the Mavericks missing out on the playoffs despite having a solid lineup that included Doncic and the midseason addition of NBA champion Kyrie Irving.

Eager to return to the playoffs and possibly contend for a championship, the Mavericks have made notable additions to their squad for the upcoming season. Grant Williams and Seth Curry, among others, have joined the team, setting the stage for what looks to be an exciting season for Mavericks fans and basketball enthusiasts worldwide.
