NBA analyst Shannon Sharpe isn’t happy with the latest annual NBA GM survey. Kevin Durant was voted the top small forward in the survey, ahead of the NBA great LeBron James. He is even surprised that Luka Doncic is on the list, who is considered a point guard player.

Shannon Sharpe said, “They keep trying to find ways to disrespect greatness instead of appreciating it. I still believe LeBron James is the best SF in basketball, he can do things KD can’t do.” Brooklyn Nets’ Kevin Durant is at the top followed by Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics at number two. Dallas Mavericks Luka Doncic is at three, while Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is at number four.

Shannon Sharpe feels that LeBron James should be marked at number 1. Everyone knows that Shannon is a big fan of the LA Lakers legend. He also thinks that the GMs do not appreciate the legend enough. LeBron is on the verge of playing the 20th NBA season of his career.

The Los Angeles Lakers played the Phoenix Suns in the second match of the NBA pre-season. The LA Lakers lost to the Phoenix Suns 115-112. LeBron James was playing aggressively as Anthony Davis was missing from the line-up as he was rested with lower back tightness. James averaged 8 of 11 from the field, including 3 of 6 from 3-point range, while playing only the first half.

Lakers’ Dario Saric scored 12 points, going 3 of 4 on free throws in the final 41 seconds. Kendrick Nunn had 21 points for the Lakers on 8-of-13 shooting, going 4 of 7 from 3-point range. Russell Westbrook had 12 points and six rebounds, while Dwayne Bacon had 11 points for the Lakers. The Lakers had a 69-62 advantage, but when the players were substituted on the court, they couldn’t hold on to the lead. On the other hand, Devin Booker led the Suns with 22 points on a 7-of-20 shooting.
