NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal extended his support for Los Angeles Lakers point guard Patrick Beverley. While doing the 4xNBA Champ took a dig at former Utah Jazz players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell. Shaq talked on “The Big Twirl” podcast, where he put his thoughts out.

Shaquille said, “Stay off my boy Pat. I’ve got nothing bad to say about Pat. You know why? He play the game like it’s supposed to be played. Not these dudes making $200, 300 million and can’t play at all.” He added, “When they get traded, y’all talking about. ‘Oh, Shaq hatin.’ Shaq know what the hell he talking about. That’s why both they a**ess up out of there. Yeah, remember that Utah fans, remember that? I can look at a guy and see if he can play.”

Shaq felt people unnecessarily stressing over Beverley’s entry into the lakers team. The Lakers got him for a three-year deal at $30 million. He will prove to be a productive asset for them as his game play will suit the Lakers team more. He also talked about Utah Jazz trading their star players Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. He said, “I wasn’t hating, the organization is hating that’s why both their a**ess are out of there cause I know the hell what I’m talking about.”  This is not the first time Shaq has criticized these two.

Shaquille O’Neal has faced several players and had more players as his teammate. When asked about whom he thinks is his worse teammate, he replied, “Worst teammate? Dennis Rodman.” He added, “He was a great player, but he made it hard. Like when you try to corral the guys together and the people above you [are] letting this one guy do whatever he wants.”

Shaq further added, “So we had to be there an hour before the game, he would come in 15 minutes before the game eating chicken and rice. While the coaches are talking, he would jump in the shower. Cold shower. Come and give you 15, 20 rebounds.” Dennis Rodman is one of the most enigmatic players in NBA history. He signed with the O’Neal-led Lakers in the middle of the shortened 1998-99 season. Therefore, one can see where these comments put forth by Shaq are coming from.
