There are many stories about Shaquille O’Neal being a very generous man. The Big Diesel once decided to buy an entire restaurant dinner while he was on a date. The woman who he spent the evening with has not been revealed but he took her to the Jue Lan Club, a Chinese restaurant in New York City.
He was very crafty in handling the gesture very discreetly. He requested the staff of the restaurant not to reveal what he did until the end of their dinner. Shaq has always been kind to people around. He once summoned a young boy at a local supermarket and bought him a bicycle. He also once tipped a waitress $1000.
Shaquille O’Neal is all for big investments and smart spending
Shaquille O’Neal has a very high net worth of $400 million USD. He would not have hesitated to pay the entire night’s bill which summed up to a total “well over $25,000.” The former NBA champion has always spoken about investing money rather than spending it. He has several investment over many different brands including General Electrics, PepsiCo, and Apple.
Shaq was also a minority owner of the Sacramento Kings from 2013 to 2022. He also spends a good sum on real estate within the Orlando region. As successful as he might be, his son Shareef O’Neal is slowly starting to creep into the limelight of basketball. His father former team has agreed to sign him to the upcoming summer league following the 2022 NBA Draft.
