Sixers’ James Harden finally breaks silence over possible reunion with Houston Rockets
James Harden
James Harden recently addressed the reports which claimed him to be seriously considering a return to the Houston Rockets this free agency in July. The Beard since he left Houston has always been trolled for being unloyal and rolling out of the teams when they need him the most. But the story at Philadelphia 76ers for James Harden is quite different.
As for the team to get better James Harden has sacrificed a lot this season. The signings of P.J. Tucker, Danuel House Jr., Montrezl Harrell and others were possible because Harden selflessly took a pay cut. But now with Adrian Wojnarowski reporting his rumored future plans everything just changes.
Adrian Wojnarowski reporting James Harden considering Houston return wrote: “ESPN Sources: All-Star guard James Harden is seriously considering a return to the Houston Rockets in free agency this July — if he decides against a new deal with the Philadelphia 76ers.”
James Harden though isn’t entertaining this report and had zero ideas about it during the Christmas Game. As he wasn’t riding with the reporters trying to get answers out of him regarding the viral report on the internet.
James Harden’s take on reports claiming him to return to Houston Rockets
When James Harden was questioned about the reports claiming a possible reunion with Houston Rockets before the game. He didn’t entertain the question and went on to say: “What report?… Why would you ask me about that on Christmas, man?” he said. “You didn’t say Merry Christmas or nothing. You asked me about something that I ain’t even … I’m not answering. I didn’t see nothing… I’m not talking right now before the game.”
After the game ended, and the Sixers registered a dub against the New York Knicks on Christmas. Harden broke his silence over the viral report. While doing so he said: “I’m here. We’re playing very well and I don’t know where that report came from, but I’m excited to be here and we’re playing very well. We’re continuing to get better.”
James Harden this season so far is averaging 21.8 points, 6.4 rebounds, 11.1 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.5 blocks. The Sixers after the dub on Christmas are ranked in the 5th spot in the Eastern Conference with the record of 20-12 as Joel Embiid and Harden are leading them ahead and getting better every day. But none of that means Beard can’t or isn’t planning to reunite with his former team. Where he played the greatest basketball of his career.
