“I’ll make you look like a fool on your podcast” Skip Bayless calls out Draymond Green for declining his 1-on-1 challenge
Skip Bayless, Draymond Green
Draymond Green always finds to find someone to argue with, even when he’s not on the field. Draymond, who recently won a championship, is currently in a Twitter battle with iconic sportscaster Skip Bayless, who has lately been embroiled in a series of Twitter scandals. The “New Media” is taking over the sports media from the views-hungry hounds like Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith, and Green is their face.
Since Warriors forward Green accepted a post as an analyst with Turner Sports and began appearing with Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson on what is perhaps the top sports talk show on the globe, there has been a new wave in sports journalism. Draymond has taken to his job as a podcaster really well. He doesn’t publicise the facts or back down from his own ideas while addressing listeners or viewers. And he accomplishes it while largely supporting the players.
Skip Bayless and Draymond Green trade blows on social media.
The 4 time NBA champion Draymond Green already has a platform to talk on thanks to his popular YouTube podcast, as soon as he joined Inside the NBA, his media career had a dramatic upsurge, inspiring him to develop the phrase “The New Media.” Instead of only journalists and those who haven’t played professional sports, this word refers to former professional players who are now engaged in sports journalism and analysis. Now, it includes a sizable number of well-known media figures, such as Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith, who are two of Green’s major targets when he discusses new media.
Draymond recently went off on a rant about how media companies like ESPN and Fox Sports estimate a team’s odds of winning the title yet give the Warriors only less probability against the Celtics’ likelihood despite that last club lacking Finals veterans. Throughout the Playoffs, he trashed Smith, Bayless, and even former NBA player Kendrick Perkins for his remarks.

The seasoned Fox Sports analyst has now effectively lived rent-free in the minds of some of the biggest names in the game, including Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, thanks to Green giving him precisely what he wants. The 70-year-old challenged the 2017 DPOY to a discussion after inviting the 2017 MVP, but Green wisely declined.
Skip Bayless responded to Green in a much more savage way:
The onslaught continues on between the players and so called “New Media” in today’s NBA. Players like Green and Westbrook are considered to be the scapegoats during this time of the season.
