“He tore apart the Nets” Skip Bayless questions Laker Nation’s integrity for deeming Kyrie Irving as its savior

It was rumored that Los Angeles Lakers were trying to acquire the services of Brooklyn Nets star player Kyrie Irving to build up their roster. Both the teams were in talks about the trade for quite a time, but Brooklyn Nets decided to keep up with him rather than trade him. Sports analyst Skip Bayless mocked LA Lakers when they were reportedly trying to trade him in to be their ‘savior.’

On the show “Skip and Shannon- Undisputed,” he stated, “It amuses me that the Lakers franchise considers Kyrie Irving their savior when he was the catalyst for tearing apart the Brooklyn Nets last year.” Kyrie Irving will become a free agent next summer, and Laker’s front office will still be trying to acquire him. It will still be hard to see whether he can be loyal to the team or not, as he has had some issues with the Brooklyn Nets management.

Another possible trade that can be carried out is of LA Lakers’ Russell Westbrook, but it might still take time.  While they have acquired Patrick Beverley and his history with Russell Westbrook, it will be interesting to see how far they can get along with each other if the Westbrook trade doesn’t take place. Fans will hope this doesn’t turn out to be a headache for the Lakers team and their management.

Reports of Kyrie Irving getting into Los Angeles went off when the Brooklyn Nets had heavy demands to trade out Kyrie Irving. Due to this, the trade didn’t go as planned, and now Kyrie will play alongside Kevin Durant for Brooklyn Nets; on the other hand, Los Angeles Lakers have got a trade suitable for themselves by acquiring Patrick Beverley.

But his clashes with Russell Westbrook can create problems for the team and the management if they don’t come together. On the other hand, when Kyrie Irving becomes a free agent in the next season, the Lakers will be adamant about acquiring him, but how this work for them will be answered by the team only.
