Steph Curry provides a tentative return date, says he’s healing well
Stephen Curry
The Golden State Warriors are anxiously awaiting the return to action of their top point guard Steph Curry. Curry’s left shoulder injury from earlier this month was anticipated to keep him out for 3–4 weeks, but a more exact timeframe may be developing.
Curry will undergo another evaluation in two weeks, according to the Warriors’ official statement from Saturday. Curry attended the broadcast of Golden State’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Christmas Day to provide an update on this timeline and his improvement. “Every day it’s getting better,” Curry said. “I’m hoping it’s as close to that two-week mark as possible. It gives me time for that five-on-five rehab.”
It is encouraging to hear that Curry’s shoulder is improving daily for Warriors supporters. Everyone in the fandom is eager to have their MVP back, so he hopes to return as close to that two-week window as possible. The Warriors host the Orlando Magic on January 7th, two weeks after the most recent update. If he cannot return by the 7th then the next game that he can make a comeback will be on the 10th.
Curry’s recovery obviously depends on his progression, but he stated that his damaged left shoulder is getting better every day, so things appear to be going well. The Warriors have suffered much without Steph Curry, and they eagerly anticipate his return. If things keep going this way, maybe the return won’t be too far apart from his next evaluation.
Everything on Steph Curry’s shoulder injury
The Warriors lost to the Pacers on December 14 and Stephen Curry, who has been playing at MVP level this season, departed the game with a shoulder injury. Curry, who had scored 38 points after 29 minutes of play, was clearly worn out after working so hard all night. Curry is averaging 30.0 points, 6.8 assists, and 6.6 rebounds in 26 games this season while scoring 50.0 percent from the field and 43.4 percent from 3-point range.
Curry “had a left shoulder subluxation,” the Warriors said afterward. Curry injured himself while attempting to use his left hand to steal the ball from Pacers player Jalen Smith in the third quarter. The team promptly called a timeout and removed Curry from the game as Curry pulled away, bent over, and clutched his left shoulder. Despite the fact that everyone can agree that Curry is irreplaceable, the Warriors still have a fantastic squad despite their present standing. Since he has been a starter this season, Jordan Poole is likely to assume the playmaking position.
